Should I buy a XBOX 360 or a PS3? Which would you suggest?
First off… please no biased fanboy comments, Thanks
I want to get one of these but I can’t decide. This is what im thinking for both -
PS3-
Pros: Bluray, no "red ring of death" problems, more quiet (fan), built in wifi, free online play, controller, little big planet, doesn’t heat up as much, you don’t have to worry about replacing batteries (i like the USB charging thing). Some friends are starting to get PS3’s, not as big failure rate. I like the media more on it.
Cons: Online play isn’t as good as XBOX Live, doesn’t have Halo (i like Halo 
), not as many people have one, graphics on some multi platform games aren’t as good as on the XBOX 360. Games don’t use it to its full potential.
XBOX 360 -
Pros: XBOX Live, more friends have one, has Halo, I like the controllers more (feel), looks cooler, games use it to its potential, games are easier to create.
Cons – you have to pay $100 for wifi (ill probably just use a cord to attach it to my router, its close to my computer, you have to pay for live, RED RING OF DEATH, sounds like a jet plane, greater failure rate, can scratch disks, doesn’t have bluray, just standard DVD. The power cord box converter thing (dont know what it is called) if flippin HUGE!!!.
What happens in the future will have an effect on which i buy since i wont be buying this for a few months. Im also into sports games like need for speed, madden… stuff like that.
Please give me reasons too.
If you suggest XBOX tell me which one to get (pro, arcade, elite, etc.) Maybe the Call of duty XBOX…. good deal (2 controllers, 250 gig Hard drive, COD4 2)

Both systems are excellent in many ways. However, like you said, they have their downsides. The 360 is great for online play, the ps3 is a very well designed piece of hardware. I would ask myself what exactly im looking to get out of the console. Whether it be online gaming, quality and design, game selection, and many more topics. For example, I love the online network of the 360. Even though it costs money to use it [PS3 is free] the over all experience and new style of gaming was somthing the PS3 lacked in. Now if you do not plan on playing games with other people, the PS3 may be the better choice. Many PS3 exclusives [games the 360 do not have] are very exciting and adventurous, but they lack in the multi player experience games exclusive to the 360 have to offer. Like the Halo series.
To answer the next part of the question, if you do decide to go with Microsoft’s Xbox 360, then i would suggest getting an Elite. The extra hard drive space, built in cooling fan [to prevent overheating] and slick appearance create a stunning device. BUT it does cost a little extra. I personally have the Arcade version with the old 12 gig hard drive. I usually find myself deleting things to make space for new games =\
One last note: It is funny that i am answering this question, because earlier today my PS3 owning friend was complaining about how not many of his friends owned a PS3. Therefore the online gaming experience was not as great as someone who owns an xbox. His family is actually planning to sell the PS3 and buy an Xbox 360 =]

Yessir. Or you can just recover your account on your friends xbox and re-download the game for free. He wont be able to play it after you re-recover your account back onto your xbox however.

A oddity in the CV franchise, and known for it’s punishing and frustrating gameplay, one of the worst Castlevania games also happens to have one of the catchiest soundtracks, with music from this title continuing to be re-used in the latest installments of the series. If you play any of the games, you’re bound to recognise a song or two in this game.
I do not at all recommend actually trying to PLAY this game, as it is borderline broken, with glitches and poor game design up the wazoo (one such glitch is shown in this video.)
It’s a little hard to say why this game is as unplayable as it is, but, just trust me on this, avoid it.
The footage in this video was my first attempt at playing through the game… an experience I shall not be repeating anytime soon.
Crap game. Great music.
Your mileage may vary on the arcade synth but I can’t get enough of it. I’m really glad Konami is taking the musical direction they are with the Rebirth series.
